Voco Kuching, the first voco hotel in Malaysia by IHG Hotels & Resorts, has expanded event possibilities in Sarawak since its opening in June. The hotel provides over 2,400 square meters of meeting and event space, complemented by 321 guestrooms and suites.
This addition aims to offer contemporary venues and amenities for event planners in the region, supporting both corporate gatherings and social functions. General Manager Magdalina Chung noted the importance of flexibility for event organizers, ensuring spaces adapt to various event priorities.
Rainforest Ballroom Capacity
The centerpiece of voco Kuching's event offerings is the 1,434 square meter Rainforest Ballroom. This grand venue is designed to host up to 1,350 guests, making it suitable for significant celebrations and large-scale conferences. The ballroom is supported by several flexible function rooms, which can be used for breakout sessions, smaller gatherings, or auxiliary programs.
These adaptable spaces allow for varied event formats, catering to different needs from intimate functions to major conventions.
Modern Amenities and Support
Voco Kuching's event spaces are equipped with modern technology to support diverse functions. These include high-speed Wi-Fi, integrated audiovisual systems, and adjustable lighting. The venues also feature versatile seating configurations, allowing for customization based on event requirements.
