Dusit Princess Ipoh opens on 1 October 2026. This 268-room hotel, operated by Dusit Hotels and Resorts, brings Thai-inspired hospitality to Ipoh, the capital of Malaysia’s Perak state. Plenitude Berhad, a Bursa Malaysia-listed group, owns the property. The hotel sits approximately 200 km north of Kuala Lumpur.
It is located close to the Perak Turf Club and is a 10-minute drive from Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, which offers direct flights from Singapore. This new opening adds a significant option for couples planning destination weddings in the region.
Event Spaces and Capacities
The hotel provides 964 square meters of flexible event space across three distinct venues. The principal venue is the Kinta Ballroom, measuring 496.8 square meters. This ballroom can host up to 400 guests for theatre-style events or 300 guests for round-table banquets. It features an LED screen, a dynamic sound system, and adjustable lighting.
For smaller gatherings, the hotel offers the 383 square meter Kampar Hall and the 84 square meter Gopeng Room, providing additional versatility for wedding celebrations.

Accommodation spans five room categories, from 25 square meter Superior Rooms to 58 square meter Family Suites, with some including kitchenettes. Hotel facilities comprise an outdoor swimming pool, a Kids Club, and a 6,580 square foot fitness centre.
