DoubleTree by Hilton Parramatta to Open with 667 Square Metres of Event Space
The 100-room hotel will rise in Western Sydney, part of a new mixed-use precinct set to open in late 2028. It marks Hilton’s first property in Parramatta.

New Hotel Adds Event Capacity to Western Sydney
A DoubleTree by Hilton will open its first Parramatta property in late 2028. This 100-room hotel forms part of Deicorp Group’s Cosmopolitan mixed-use development in Western Sydney. Trilogy Hotels will operate the property under a management agreement with Deicorp. This collaboration marks their third joint hotel project.
The signing shows Hilton’s continued growth in Australasia, according to Tushar Raniga, Hilton Director of Development Australasia.
Cosmopolitan Project Details and Hotel Features
The Cosmopolitan project, designed by Turner Studio, will deliver a new urban village. It sits on the park-side edge of Parramatta's CBD. The development includes 597 apartments across two 46-storey towers. A three-storey podium will house retail, commercial, dining, and the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. The hotel will offer 667 square metres of event space.
This includes meeting rooms, a boardroom, and pre-function areas. Guest rooms will measure between 20 and 45 square metres.
Strategic Location in a Growing Hub
The hotel's location in Parramatta places it in a fast-growing commercial and infrastructure hub. Parramatta is emerging as Sydney’s second central business district. Major infrastructure investment and population expansion drive Western Sydney’s economy. The Western Sydney International Airport will open in October.
Public transport, including the upcoming Sydney Metro, will enhance connectivity. Nearby attractions include Parramatta Square and Western Sydney University.
Implications for Asia's Wedding Market
For couples planning events in Greater Sydney, this new venue provides additional options. The hotel's 667 square metres of event space offers capacity for diverse wedding celebrations. Its location in a growing commercial hub, supported by new transport links, enhances accessibility for guests.
Planners and vendors in the Asia-Pacific region can anticipate new opportunities within this expanding market. The development reflects growing demand for quality hospitality in Western Sydney, as stated by Deicorp Founder Fouad Deiri OAM.
