Adina Melbourne Undergoes Multi-Million Dollar Upgrade
Adina Melbourne has commenced a multi-million-dollar refurbishment project. TFE Hotels is transforming the 155-room apartment hotel, located in Melbourne's Central Business District, into a more contemporary property. This extensive upgrade encompasses all guest rooms, public areas, meeting and event facilities, and wellness spaces. The initiative aims to modernize the hotel, providing an enhanced experience for both travelers and event attendees.
New Event Capacity for Up to 150 Guests
A significant outcome of the renovation is the enhancement of Adina Melbourne's event spaces, which can now accommodate up to 150 guests. These flexible areas feature upgraded audiovisual technology, making them suitable for weddings and various celebrations.
The design, conceptualized by Bates Smart and led by Brenton Smith, introduces a distinctly contemporary identity while respecting the building's architectural foundations. Guest rooms also receive new furnishings and finishes, elevating the apartment-style accommodations.
Apartment-Style Comfort and Modern Amenities
The hotel's accommodations include studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, each equipped with kitchens, laundry facilities, and separate living spaces. Levels 11 through 19 are scheduled for completion ahead of the Australian Open in early 2027.
Following this, the refreshed conference spaces and wellness facilities, which include a refurbished swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center with Technogym equipment, will open. Chris Sedgwick, TFE Hotels' Group Chief Operating Officer, noted that guests highly value the flexibility and comfort provided by apartment-style stays.
